Skeleton Army Revoltech No. 20

Yosh my second figure review! Mr. Skeleton Army-san! It's so light even when the wind blows it will fall down lol! Maybe the lightest revoltech compare to my War Machine and friends but it has a beautiful sculpted base and quite a number of extra parts. It has 2 swords, 1 spear, 2 shields, and couples of hand (um I mean bone) to play with..

Awesome base with 2 buried skeletons, the arm has ball joint so it can swing the sword

Based on Columbia Pictures film "Jason and the Argonauts" where this skeleton and friends featured we can see 4 minutes stop motion by Ray Harryhausen, a stop motion animation expert. Legend says (well it's the truth) that those four minute stop motion sequence took Ray Harryhausen four and a half months to produce! It may sound ridiculously long but that's how tough it had to be done during that time, it's 1963 feature film! First it may looks odd for Kaiyodo to choose this as one of their sci-fi action figure line-up but they have done a great job to create this standing bones. Check the skeleton armies video below:

Huzzah!

Great detail, easy to pose, and so much fun to play with, you can just let your imagination goes wild and pose it in any (wild) way :p
...and next, figma Kuroneko will be the last review of this year so stay tuned :)
