Figma Kuroneko

My first figma review, it's Kuroneko from anime "Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai" or 俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがないor There's No Way My Little Sister is This Cute or blabla I just want to make this post looks longer lol rofl lmao etc..

A bit description about this figure:
  • Using the smooth yet poseable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
  • A flexible plastic is used for specific areas, which allows proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
  • Kuroneko comes with three expressions - her standard expressionless gaze, an embarrassed face and even a face full of contempt - perfect for Kuroneko to scorn the things she doesn't approve of.
  • She comes a couple of extra parts, including her shoulder bag and her doujinshi with it's original sketches.
  • She also comes with a teacup, saucer and an antique chair, along with a 'Shift:body', which lets her sit on the chair.
  • A poseable figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.
 (thank you GSC website...)
Just see the pictures below to find out more, sadly I didn't play much with this figure because this is my first attempt to shot with my laptop screen as the background and borrowed my friend's desk lamp as the lighting source but it didn't turn out good to what I expected.. so only a few pictures survived from the elimination stage.

Skeleton Army Revoltech No. 20

Yosh my second figure review! Mr. Skeleton Army-san! It's so light even when the wind blows it will fall down lol! Maybe the lightest revoltech compare to my War Machine and friends but it has a beautiful sculpted base and quite a number of extra parts. It has 2 swords, 1 spear, 2 shields, and couples of hand (um I mean bone) to play with..

Awesome base with 2 buried skeletons, the arm has ball joint so it can swing the sword

Skeleton on base

Based on Columbia Pictures film "Jason and the Argonauts" where this skeleton and friends featured we can see 4 minutes stop motion by Ray Harryhausen, a stop motion animation expert. Legend says (well it's the truth) that those four minute stop motion sequence took Ray Harryhausen four and a half months to produce! It may sound ridiculously long but that's how tough it had to be done during that time, it's 1963 feature film! First it may looks odd for Kaiyodo to choose this as one of their sci-fi action figure line-up but they have done a great job to create this standing bones. Check the skeleton armies video below:

Spartan skeleton

Huzzah!

Great detail, easy to pose, and so much fun to play with, you can just let your imagination goes wild and pose it in any (wild) way :p
...and next, figma Kuroneko will be the last review of this year so stay tuned :)

Tamashi Stage Act 2

Alright, let's talk about this stuff that I bought last time, shall we?? It's called Tamashii Stage Act 2, pretty old stuff cause the latest one is Act 5, and it's quite cheap too for only 10 SGD. Let's look what's inside..

The base itself is pretty simple, black colour, square shape base, with cylinder pole stands, ball joints, and 3 different figure holder shapes.

All the 3 stands with 3 different holders. I only use the first and the third type though since my skeleton already got it's own awesome base.

It looks great with my War Machine!

Woody also loves it!

Till my next post then, Ciao!
